What to Expect

Initial consultations typically last 30-45 minutes. We'll explore your organisation's context, current challenges, and information needs. This helps us recommend appropriate research products or develop custom approaches.

There's no obligation to proceed following an initial conversation. Many organisations find value simply in discussing their situation with our economists.

Common Questions

How quickly can you begin a new engagement?

For standard products like Sector Impact Assessments, we can typically begin within two weeks of agreement. Custom research projects require scoping conversations and may have longer lead times depending on complexity.

Do you work with organisations outside the UK?

Our primary focus is the British economy, but we do serve multinational organisations with UK operations. We can also incorporate international comparative analysis where relevant to understanding UK-specific dynamics.

How do you handle confidential information?

We maintain ISO 27001 certification for information security management. All client engagements begin with mutual non-disclosure agreements, and we have strict protocols governing data handling, storage, and disposal.

Can we speak with past clients?

With client permission, we can arrange reference conversations. Given confidentiality considerations, we maintain a limited reference list of clients who have agreed to speak with prospective clients.

What if our needs don't fit your standard services?

Custom research projects address unique analytical requirements. During initial consultation, we'll determine whether a standard product fits your needs or whether bespoke work is more appropriate.
